Beer Club Homemade Beverage Sharing Guidelines
To help keep our meetings enjoyable, safe, and respectful of our host brewery, please follow these guidelines when bringing beverages to share:
1. Homemade Beverages Only
Club sharing is limited to homemade beverages, including beer, cider, mead, wine, kombucha, and similar fermented creations.
Please do not bring commercially produced beverages for sharing. We meet at a working brewery, and we want to support and respect our host’s business.
2. Age Requirement
All individuals who share or consume alcoholic beverages at club meetings must be 21 years of age or older.
3. Bring Enough to Share
If you are registering a beverage to share, please bring enough for the group.
As a general guideline, bring approximately two 64-ounce growlers (or equivalent volume) so that all members have an opportunity to sample.
4. Bring Your Own Sampling Glass
Please bring your own tasting glass or sampling vessel. This reduces waste and takes the burden off of the host brewery.
5. Consume Responsibly
Sample thoughtfully and know your limits. Members are expected to consume alcohol responsibly and make safe transportation arrangements as needed.
6. Support Our Host Brewery
While we’re excited to sample each other’s creations, please remember to save room to enjoy beverages from Deft and Lost Cause. Their hospitality makes our meetings possible, and supporting them helps maintain a great relationship for future gatherings.
7. Share Knowledge and Feedback
When sharing a beverage, be prepared to tell the group a little about it—style, ingredients, process, successes, and lessons learned. Constructive feedback and encouragement are part of what makes the club valuable.
In short: Bring homemade beverages, bring enough to share, bring your own glass, be 21+, drink responsibly, and support our host brewery.
Thank you for helping create a welcoming and respectful environment for all members.
